I am so glad that Lyrita have released the fine Alan Rowlands set of Ireland recordings from way back when...surely all will agree that they superbly compliment the later Chandos & Lyrita takes by Eric Parkin! All three are essential to anyone who claims to like JI!
And so good to see the first volume of the Kenneth Leighton edition on Chandos.
I have just listened to the wonderful Symphony for Strings - great stuff!
