Sir Michael Tippett’s Concerto for Double String Orchestra

I have just been listening to Sir Michael Tippett’s Concerto for Double String Orchestra. Surely this is one of the greatest pieces of English Music? To my ear it is up there with the Tallis Fantasia and the Introduction & Allegro. What do other listeners think?
