This small print disease seems to be spreading and I have myself spent a lot of space in several of my reviews to try to cure it - but in vain. Besides this there is another serious degenerate species, namely white print on black background, or yellow on brown or any combination that reduces readability. There must be other playgrounds for 'imaginative' designers than CD booklets - or concert programmes for that matter. Why hire highly qualified writers when hardly anybody can read them? It's good that you brought this up, John and Michael, and I would like to see a response from someone in the recording business, trying to explain this phenomenon - I can't believe anyone defending it.
