Just thought I should put out an alert that this very worthwhile rarity can be heard via the BBC iplayer for 6 more days.
This is a broadcast of a performance given in May this year at the English Music Festival by Philippe Grafin and the BBC Concert Orchestra under David Lloyd-Jones - the first professional performance since 1896. Also there from the same concert are Brian's Reverie and Delius's Hiawatha - the latter has now been recorded by the same forces for Dutton. Let's hope a recording of the Cliffe is in the offing. But, if you live in the UK (the iplayer is not available elsewhere), don't miss the opportunity to hear it now.
If you are interested, go to Afternoon on 3 on the Radio 3 part of the BBC site and open up Episode two on the iPlayer. The Cliffe starts at around 2 hours and 7 minutes (drag the cursor forwards to get there quickly) and is preceded by the Delius with the Brian before that. It lasts about half an hour and has three movements.
