Just a note to point out that " if you live in the UK (the iPlayer is not available elsewhere)" is not actually true: I live in France and Germany and receive iPlayer radio very well via DSL. It is the video presentations that are not available abroad.
The BBC provides a really great service; it would be a cultural disaster if it were dismantled.

Thank you for the Delius tip - I would have missed that. The Cliffe didn't ring my bell; it sounded to me like a pale reflection of the Brahms.
