I agree - this CPO series is coming to the boil nicely. Probably because it was the first version I knew (via an Anthony Hopkins "Talking about music" programme) the old Monte Carlo/Panufnik version of Sinfonia Sacra has a raw passion no one else quite matches. But great music all round - more please!
