Having just read JQ's review of Tennstedt's live Mahler 3, I find myself yet again in violent agreement with him. I just wanted to point out that there is a live Mahler 4 available on Profil from Tennstedt's pre-LPO days. I haven't heard that one. There was another live Mahler 4 from a Boston Symphony (?) concert on one of those Italian bootleg labels. And there is a live Mahler 9 from a Tennstedt concert with the NY Phil that exists in a private bootleg and can be found occassionally on the interweb.
