I haven't come across the live Mahler 4 by Tennstedt and the BSO mentioned by Tim Perry, but I have heard a tape of a broadcast of the M4 with Tennstedt conducting the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, with soprano Arleen Auger; if I recall correctly, it dates from June 1990. The live M9 by Tennstedt and the NYPO, cited above, was from a 1982 concert on the 20th anniversary of the death of Bruno Walter. I believe that there's also a (private?) tape of a Tennstedt M9 with the Philadelphia Orchestra from 1988.
