But I don't care if you are or not - I don't know you and your loud opinion is of no consequence to me. Composers and musicians write to me every week thanking me for my reviews - that's good enough for me. Your views on what a reviewer is supposed to do are only that - your views. If you read Gramophone or Fanfare, for example, you'll find that their reviewers give the same kinds of information I do, only less of it.
Ultimately, if you don't like my reviews, ignore them or don't read them. Pseudonymity has a long tradition, and part of the reason for that is because there are self-appointed, bad-mannered arbiters of right and wrong like you out there.
