Regarding the first point, I imagine the answer is yes, but of course the music has not been "newly rediscovered", since it was all published in its day, remained in print to about the 1930s and must have been hugely popular since second-hand copies are easily-enough found in the UK. All the music on the record can be downloaded from IMSLP if anyone likes the sound of it and wants to have a go - it's occasionally tricky but hardly virtuosic.
These comments are not intended to belittle the admirable enterprise of the artist and the recording company in putting this music on disc, I join Bob Reinhardt in encouraging readers to dicover (or "redicover") it, and I point out to the the artist (or other artists) that there's plenty more of like quality. Again, most of it can be downloaded from IMSLP.
