Putting these recordings on Amazon etc is a way to keep them available, but their abundance combined with their obscurity means the situation is still frustrating - at least for myself. Even if I discover them, Amazon won't sell MP3s to people in Australia.
As an example: I recently surveyed samples of Schubert's D960 sonata. Three of the top candidates were electronic-only obscurities, and thus out of reach. (Ammiel Bushakevitz, Dmytro Sukhovienko, Luca Ciammarughi)
