Lunch Time O'Boulez
Posted by Gulliver on May 26, 2014, 2:06 pm
Does anyone ever read the Lunchtime O'Boulez column in Private Eye? Mentions John Eliot Gardiner antics! I think we need a similar column going on here! Problems of iphones at Wigmore Hall, apparently a quartet player turned his on during concert as wife expecting but it did not go off. Audience were tense expecting it to go off mid concert and what would the player do. All fun. In Salzburg Wolfgang Rihm had composed stucke fur handy as they kept going off during his violin concerto!
