And yes, various scholars -- most notably William Carragan, John Phillips, Benjamin Gunnar Cohrs, and the Italian musicologists Samale and Mazzuca -- have worked with the extensive orchestrated portions of the Finale and the working bifolios to produce Performing Versions of the Finale.
But there is no confusion whatsoever regarding pages, numbering, etc of movements 1 - 3. Bruckner was very careful to guard his legacy in this regard.
The newest Critical Edition of 1-3, by Ben Cohrs, corrects some of the notational idiosyncrasies of the composer to conform with modern orchestral notation, but in all major areas is identical to the earlier Critical Editions of Alfred Orel and Leopold Nowak. Robert Haas did not edit the Ninth, by the way. He delegated that job to Alfred Orel.
