In many cases, "availability on the internet" is synonymous with "piracy", but both the 1959 Goldschmidt and the 1961 Horenstein are out of copyright, at least as far as European law is concerned, so presumably both uploaders and downloaders are acting within their rights.
This also raises another question. Speaking as one who has a download of the 1961 Horenstein sitting in his computer, would I gain anything, sonically, by buying the issue Mr Godfrey has just reviewed, especially when his comments on the sound aren't exactly flattering?
