The most recently recorded completions, in this listener's estimation, still give a approximate feeling in places, but (and I grant it may be wishful thinking or special pleading to self here) have seemed especially compelling in others (but then, as this listener personally has little problem with completions/realisations based on much less material, relatively speaking, from the composer than this one does - e.g. Elgar 3 - so long as they seem to work very well and make compelling and repeatable listening - it'd be hypocritical of _me_ to object. Ah well. Back to the infinite debate and to your travels, sir.)
