Well, it is always good for opinions and for them to differ. I was amused to find I happened to come upon and read this as the middle of the scherzo of the 2nd symphony (Barenboim/Chicago recording) has been running through my head.
Busch's music, including that unrecorded-as-yet (commercially, I mean) symphony (1927, ©1929 by B&H as op.39, also in E minor- anyone- aside from Munich Lib- got a score and the movement descs? :D), is -quite- good of course, no argument there...
