I still do not see why I should have to search high and low for TEXTS which should and could have been provided by Melodiya, either physically or by reference to the appropriate site. Having to search for each song individually by title is a pain; I did not find them under the "Tchaikovsky Edition" on "Brilliant" website but Rob our editor did, and added a helpful note accordingly - but my point still applies.
I do in fact speak fluent French and some German, wile my knowledge of Russian is indeed very slight, but that makes no difference as I am also reviewing with people who do not have languages and need the texts to appreciate the songs properly.
As Nick observes, you seem to enjoy nit-picking so show us how it's done by responding to Len's invitations for more reviewers. Your final attempted dig at me as a member by implication of "the cultured elite" is most flattering. I love the sound of Russian and am familiar with a few words and phrases but have not learned it, as you presumably have.
