As someone married to a Finn,I can assure Colin that very few cultured Finns with an interest in classical music need a translation into their own language if English is provided.
Latin remains a kind of lingua franca in the field of liturgical music and is so familiar to so many that even though a translations of the Latin is invariably provided it is hardly required.
I do not understand the "Shock Horror" title; I am hardly surprised that Tchaikovsky is sung in Russian, merely that Melodiya does not see the need for the courtesy of providing translations in any other major European language - especially as it would presumably help their sales.
