. . . And suppose you want to truly appreciate songs in French, German, Spanish, Nowegian, Danish, Greek, Celtic, Hindustani, Chinese, Maori (et cetera ad infinitum)? How many languages can the brain of a lover of song be expected to accommodate, even assuming an exceedingly long lifetime in which to acquire them?
I suspect that your order is a mite too tall, and that most of us will have no option but to put our trust, however guardedly, in translators.
