Charles Auguste de Beriot: Piano Trio No. 2, Op. 58 (undated). Recorded by Gobel-Trio Berlin, and coupled with Carl Loewe's Piano Trio, Op. 12 (1830). Christophorus CHE 0154-2.
Jacques Blumenthal (Germany / France 1829-1908): Grand Trio in F minor, Op. 26 (1853). Recorded on Maguelone MAG 111 127.
The history of the piano trio would be pretty much the same had these trios never been composed. But nonetheless they are charming and graceful things, and I'm glad to have them on my shelves.
Best wishes for B Part 2. You've taken on a rather immense task - and I'm grateful for it!
