Way back in 1951 it was recorded on Capitol by Arthur Whittemore and Jack Lowe with the Robin Hood Dell Orchestra of Philadelphia under Vladimir Golschmann. Wittemore and Lowe had given the American première of the work in 1949.
I discuss this recording in my recent article on Golschmann - http://www.musicweb-international.com/classrev/2015/Jul/Golschmann_forgotten.htm - and found it made a better case for the music than the Vronsky/Babin/Boult version.
As of now, I'm not able to say how the new performance compares
