I spoke to Christine Croshaw after her Kings Place performance of Faure a few years ago, and asked the very same question, specifically, why she hadn't recorded a third or fourth volume of Hummel with Meridian, after the two volumes currently available. She said, the label didn't want any more, much as she would have enjoyed exploring more Hummel (the Rondo Brillante op109 and cello and piano sonata on volume are gems)
I agree re Czerny, but the Meridian chamber music disc certainly has well chosen repertoire. Am I correct that Martin Jones has recorded all of Czerny's solo piano music?
