We are of course all keen to defend our own camps, but you shot yourself in the foot a little by starting out with "...nowhere in our CD is it mentioned that this is a live recording... In our website I precisely wrote: Recorded on May 1st, 2014 (general rehearsal and concert), meaning that final editing drew from both performances."
The review states, "The present performance was recorded live in concert and at the preceding rehearsal in her native city." Unless this was a later correction/addition I would say this is clear enough. Most of us are aware that a 'live' recording is rarely undiluted by judicious repairs.
As for the rest we're straight into the usual subjective minefields in repertoire that has an abundance of more or less attractive alternatives. I would hope we speak as we find.
