This may or may not be the same man. From 1955-59 I belonged to Cheam Tennis Club in Cheam Surrey. One of the players was a David Morgan and the age ( b.1933) seems to fit making him a year older than me. He was an adequate ( if aggressive) tennis player and I always enjoyed playing against him. After tennis matches we would often retire to the Clubhouse and David would entertain us on the piano ( a favourite piece was by Ernst von Dohnanyi). I was aware that David was a composer of some sort but he never played any of his own compositions. I did not realise that he had come to Canada( I emigrated to BC in 1959) and am sad to hear of his premature death.
This may fill a couple of holes in his bio.
