(I thought the newly found very early string quartet, possibly the one Fifield in his biography mentions in letters about Bruch from his teacher, was in G minor, not C minor? Either misremembering or my one source for that was a typo ...)
Also good (I agree with someone else who brought this up) would be a recording coupling both of Bruch's quintets for strings. (There's at least one CD with the E-flat quintet and also one live performance on YouTube that I know of, but no recordings yet of the A minor and E-flat quintets together, I think...)
