Re: Live performance versus recordings

Just a note about the age of the audience. My wife and I subscribe to a Sunday Afternoon concert series. Any and every sort of music, Pop. Country and Chamber Music. It seem that all most every one one is of advanced age. This past Sunday she went to our seats first, as I met a friend out side. Since her hair is of Silver. I looked for her, but since every Women had hair of Silver she was for a few moments hard to find. The point I am trying to make is that age is a factor in the decline in concert going here in the US. the 92 Street Y famous for its concerts is offering discount for those under 30 years of age! Back to the main topic. Even the very best equipment can never match the experience of a "live concert"
