"Virago" is an English word, pronounced with accent on second syllable and a hard g--it is now considered offensive and means a domineering or quarrelsome woman. I'm guessing that someone at Decca entered "veruju" but autocorrect changed it to "virago" and nobody caught it.
I'm glad to lay it at Decca's feet and not yours, since I appreciate your reviews. (I appreciate a lot of Decca's recordings too, of course . . .)
