All we can say is that they are in stereo, so work is unlikely to have begun before the 1960s, and can be proved by advertisements in record magazines to have been completed and issued before the Dorati cycle.
The ease with which halls and out-of-contract musicians could apparently be booked in Vienna in the 1950s and 1960s without leaving any trace has led to endless speculation about who really played on these recordings, Vox and Concert Hall as well as MHS.
