Re: Last place among over 200 Bruckner 4ths?
In reply to Ralph Moore's post re the Brilliant Classics Bruckner set, Yes, I agree entirely. Rogner was an interesting conductor. I've always liked Neumann's work as well, especially his Dvorak, Martinu, Janacek - the best Cunning Vixen in my experience- and I especially love his Mahler. The Sanderling 3 was available in the seventies on German EMI, Electrola, and it was one of the first Sanderling recordings which alerted me to his special genius.
