Ben Janken's reminiscences
Posted by Ralph Moore on April 5, 2019, 11:54 am
As a regular contributor to the 'Articles' section, I just wanted to thank Ben for his touching narrative of how he became an anglo-hibernophile, particularly with regard to his love of the music. As a native Brit, I have gone the other way and felt increasingly drawn to Latin and Gallic culture, and have never really developed much affection for 20C British music beyond Elgar and a bit Vaughan Williams but I have made a point of drawing the attention of some of my overseas music-loving friends to Ben's article as I know they will appreciate the sentiments he expresses so eloquently.
Thank you for taking part in the MusicWeb International Forum.
