I, for one, like that big sound. Not all the time, of course, but I purchased, but don't much like, the David Goode/Robert Quinney/Peter Hurford I/ even Herrick/ 'chamber-like' Bach sound. I like the resonance, and the air around the organ, and for that reason, I prefer Bowyer, later Hurford, and recitals on Silbermann organs such as Freiburg. Goode's recital on it is much better than the same pieces in Trinity College, though this is a personal preference, of course.
