Regarding the opera, I enjoyed rereading your review. I have always thought The Fiery Angel was a powerful opera in the expressionist vein, which would make a worthy substitution for yet another performance of Strauss's Salome or Elektra.
Strange, but I remember when this disc was first issued a couple of years ago I pondered doing a review of it for MWI. I've reviewed several recordings of the opera, one right here (http://musicweb-international.com/classrev/2021/Jan/Prokofiev-angel-NBD0113V.htm), but in the end I passed on the idea of the cello/piano transcription. Now as I re-listen to the upload of that disc on YouTube I can see that the transcription of the music is well done and the performances are quite fine.
I don't even remember how I found this, but cellist Maya Fridman has made a suite of the music from Prokofiev's Fiery Angel for cello and piano, and it's pretty interesting. The cover art is something else, though.
