Are you aware of a similar request made to MusicWeb more than twenty years ago re. Ms Bright? Here is a link http://www.musicweb-international.com/classrev/2002/May02/bright.htm
Rob Barnett may recall whether there were any responses.
I have just completed a biography of Dora Bright, female composer from the turn of the 20th century, now sadly forgotten. She was an important individual who played a significant part in the rise of ballet in the UK and needs to be better regarded within the music world. Her catalogue is large and extensive and through a couple of years of research have now published her ,' full' catalogue and a biography of her life in the public view. If anyone has any other news or examples of her work, particularly her 78 recording of nue Wien, then I would love to hear from them.
