Re: Chausson Symphony
I do like Chausson, and favour the Ansermet recording of the symphony over Munch's, which sounds a bit too monolithic and aggressive. It's hard to find recordings of the orchestral works that have the right lightness and transparency. Chausson's chamber music is also a delight, though of course one must find the right performances.
