I read very promising things about Tutev's 2nd symphony but the Bulgarian Radio CD seems to be impossible to find...

Unfortunately, I was looking for the same thing and did not manage to find any. However, here are some of the works Balkanton has recorded on LP:
* P. Stainov: Symphony No. 1
* Nenov: Rhapsodic Fantasy, SOnata for violin and piano
* Pipkov: Symphonies Nos. 1 and 3 (No. 4 has been released on a Gega CD apparently), An Oratorio for our Time, the Wedding
* Goleminov: Symphonies Nos. 2-4, Nestinarka
* Sagaev: Symphony No. 6
* Raichev: Symphonies Nos. 3 and 4 which you know already (No. 2 is much more impressive and BBC Radio 3 broadcast it at night some time ago - they will probably do it again, they also broadcast No. 6 once I think)
* Iliev: Symphonies Nos. 4 & 6 (the latter available on CD together with the Musical Moments)
* Jules Levy: Symphony No. 2
