A switcher attached to a stereo alternates (imperceptably) between sources at random intervals, and a listener records their impression of the changing quality of the sound. E.g. 2: during a listening session, "tainted" materials are imperceptably introduced into and withdrawn from the room. And why not a GREEN pen?

As audio quality is notoriously "subjective", what is needed is a strict double-blind experiment.
