I would probably opt for one of Leoncavallo's settings for voice and piano (I know he did a few) but couldn't tell you which. The tenor sounds familiar, but again, not sure (Hector Sandaval?). Just a stab, as no-one else seems to be having a go...  Post a Response

And because the mp3 stuttered as I downloaded it, I felt fairly confident about that choice until the voice entered! Now I'm thinking it could be early Liszt, but there's also the flash of Piazzolla, or some overtly ethnic stage act. Still, I'll bear the ridicule and stay with Liszt.  Post a Response
