Classical vinyl LP collection Posted by Michael Cookson on January 8, 2009, 12:23 pm 90.215.25.213 My classical records collection of around 170 vinyl LPs has to go. Virtually all the records are in excellent condition and are from around the 1970s and early 1980s. I am wondering if anyone wants these before I take them to my local Fylde Coast tip. There are several specialist dealers who buy/sell classical vinyl. Then again, if you feel up to the challenge (or know someone who dabbles in these things), you could always try putting them up on eBay.  Post a Response

And if you have any Melodiya records I don't have I would drive over from Preston and buy them from you!  Post a Response

If you know any dealers on the East coast (mid-Atlantic region) who would be interested in a bulk rate purchase and who could arrange for shipping, this could be a very good opportunity. I've searched and priced some of these online, and many fall into the $10.00-$25.00 range, with some higher, and some lower. Most were purchased new in the seventies and eighties and there are many that have never been played (the circulation card is attached to many of them). We must clear the space they're sitting in (boxed) and don't want them to go for trash.  Post a Response
