Sibelius Kullervo Posted by Michael Herman on March 26, 2009, 7:00 pm 24.44.247.48 The first modern performance of Sibelius' "Kullervo" was given by his son-in-law Jussi Jalas in 1958. An unauthorized recording of that performance was issued on LPs in the early 1970's. Is there anyone out there who owns those LPs and can give me the details about it? These are needed for a Scandinavian Symphony Discography that I am preparing for MusicWeb International. Many thanks.  Post a Response
