Bruckner Symphony Update Posted by david krantz on May 1, 2009, 2:42 pm 216.80.122.62 The recent updating of Bruckner CD's was excellent. I wonder why Sinopoli's Bruckner's 7th with Dresden wasn't included. I think it's an excellent performance, one that seems to have fallen "in the proverbial crack".  Post a Response

The reasons why a particular recording is not mentioned are that neither John nor I have heard it, and it has not been reviewed on MusicWeb International. Sinopoli recorded 3-5 and 7-9 in Dresden but only the Fifth seems to be available at the moment.  Post a Response
