The Carlyle Club: ken-thank you for the comment, and we're working on bringing in more live music. Appreciate your feedback! ... August 6 at 5:30pm
Ken Gallahan: I've heard that every since you first opened. It's not about bringing in live entertainment, it's about about what you bring in and how you promote it and whoever is in charge either doesn't know or doesn't care... August 7 at 8:24am
The Carlyle Club: Welcome your suggestions on who you think we should bring in-what are your thoughts around local musicians? ... August 7 at 5:02pm
Ken Gallahan: There's more to it then just bringing in acts. There's promo, ticketing, maximizing revenue and being audience friendly. Local acts are local for a reason. Many locals can entertain an audience, but few can draw an audience. That's why they work for so little money. I'm not going to recommend artists. That what I get paid for. But I wish you the best... The Carlyle Club: thank you!... August 8 at 5:49pm
Rick Sibbett: I beg to differ with Ken! Some of the greatest musicians, singers and artist are right here in the shadow of the Nation's Capitol! I perform in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, New York, Branson and all over! And I have made a lifetime career of playing with some of the biggest musical acts in America! Therefore, I am compelled to say, that there are acts right here that can pull a large draw to the Carlyle Club! It's just like everything else in life, you have to give the artist time to build the room for themselves and their following! It just doesn't happen over night! Doc Scatlin seems to do very well there and as far as I know, he's local to the area! In fact, I have contacted the Carlyle Club on several occasions to bring in my favorite singer, performer & entertainer there, but they NEVER respond back! This artist is the former backup singer for Kenny Rogers, Garth Brooks and Dolly Parton! And although she is originally from Nashville, over the course of time, she has transitioned into one sultry, sexy, smooth Jazz singer that would be PERFECT for the Carlyle Club, and she has a great following, both locally and elsewhere! But yet again, no response to date from the Carlyle Club!! Brennan Reilly, if you're reading this, please give me a call at 571- 354-3352 or contact me via the Facebook messaging. Thanks! ...
