Depending on how severe the allergies in your family are, it would pay to visit a few cornish and devons before getting your heart set on a kitten. There certainly are a lot of my kittens living with allergy sufferers happily however several people have reacted to them. If the allergy is to the hair it is good but if it is to the saliva and skin dander it can still be as bad as with normal cats, even a sphinx!
I do not have any kittens availalbe only a litter due the end of next month. Good luck and enjoy your new kitten
