Your father was my father’s Battalion CO and I know they had a close relationship. Just wondering how you did on gathering stories and such and I too am wondering who to donate his things to and I have been searching the internet for museums. I have been in contact with the 30th Infantry Division Association and they said I could send my things to them. The next generation has taken over this Association. My dad was a tank commander with the 743rd Tank Battalion and served under your father and joined him at many reunions. Warm Regards

Karen,
I am going through my Dad’s things from WWII and found a letter from your dad written to my dad, a Christmas card from your dad, and a picture of your father. The picture is a photo copy of an 8” x 10” head shot of him in uniform with black rimmed glasses and it is signed with a note that is hard to read. The original it looks like was given to someone else and this is just a copy.
