My husband was the original Captain of the
LST 376 and was transferred back to the US
2 weeks prior to Normandy and was shedulded to
lead a group of LST to the Pacific Theater.
We have many pictures and had reunions from 1994 thru 2001.
Ray is still in touch with several of the survivors of that night. He will be 90 March 9
and is in a nursing home but his mind is still
pretty sharp.
