Mary. I have been watching for two days on T.V the programmes about the brave men who made it possible for Great Britain and the World to be freed. At my church this morning we remember those brave men like your father and had a two minutes silence in respect. I remember D Day being 16 at the time but at that age it does not really create much sorrow yet many of the men killed were only two years older than that.
I do now remember each year those men who made it possible for me to live in relative freedom..
May we not forget them
