to all veterans of normandy some years ago i done a sponsored walk in normandy from quisterham to port en besin along with two veterans who kindly escorted me along the way and acted as back up if i needed help,i had raised £3,500 pounds for them and today i feel so proud of what i had done we also visited other places where no other tourist in a coach would have gone,to me that is my memory for ever,i would like to thank all veterans from the navy, airforce, and army, from america, canada, england, france, belgium, etc for what they had done and those civilians who also may have played a part in the invasion,i just do not know how you all done it,you are the lucky ones but the heroes lay at rest in many of the grave yards throughout france,i would like to sat godbless you all and let those who never came back be at peace, free from pain and sorrow and walk in peace and happiness in gods own garden and you survivors men and women may you all find health and happiness peace and good fortune as you all well deserve all of this my heart felt thanks to you all and i am a member an honorary member of the normandy veterans thank and godbless you all'
