Thanks for your response! At this point most of my dad's papers are in boxes without much order. I'm hoping to get them organized, but it will take a while. They are on paper that is sort of like tracing paper. I do have organized copies of after action reports from Oct 1 through November 30, 1944 and March 1 through April 30 1945. None for May 1944 in the organized parts. I have some pictures that were taken when they were practicing in the desert in California. Once I get the papers organized, I will see about getting them in digital format. I'll also see about getting some of the pictures uploaded. I do work full time, so I'll be working all this in around work and family. It would be wonderful to get copies of your uncle's letters. A collection of all these memories would be a terrific legacy from the children of the 743rd.
