my uncle sgt john j judefind who was in the 508th parachute infantry regiment,company h.this unit was part of the 82 airborne division,used during d-day.his asn number was 13 154 794.he was reported mia on june 6th 1944 and later reported kia august 8th 1944.sgt judefind was from media pa.he lived at 597 manchester ave.he is buried at the normandy american cemetery,st laurent-sur-mer,france.plot i row 10 grave 31.he was awarded the purple heart.if anyone has any information on sgt judefind and remembers him please contact me asap.god bless each and everyone of those brave men who served in this proud unit.
