Posted by DJ Ritmo RE: Fund Drive I don't usually promote the show on here, but we may have something that may be of interest to you Tejano fans especially those of you in the Austin area. 90.1 FM is a public access radio station and relies on donations to supplement their budget for operations. The station relies on volunteers to program their shows. I am a volunteer helping out DJ Tomas Pacheco who created the show, Fiesta Musical. We bring Tejano to the Plains and Midwest and now broadcasting online. Our show features interviews with Tejano artists almost every other week, new Tejano music, new up and coming groups as well as the veterans of the industry and some old school. We work hard to bring the music and keep people up to date with the latest Tejano industry news. Your support is appreciated!! I know tonight is the championship game, but if we can get your attention for the first hour, that would be great. Outside of KC, logon to http://www.kkfi.org and click on "streaming audio". Premium Gift: *Hacienda Records 2006 New Release Sampler Custom made for Fiesta Musical featuring: *The Hometown Boys-La Traicionera (Tejas Records) *Del Castillo-Brotherhood (Smilin Castle Records) *Del Castillo-Live in Concert DVD (Troublemaker Studios) *2 Bonus CDs From Our Secret Stash of CDs from Tejas Records, Hacienda Records, or Smilin Castle Records All of this available for a $75 Donation to Fiesta Musical on KKFI, Kansas City’s Community Radio. All proceeds go directly to benefit the operational costs of the radio station. Thank you for helping us Keep La Onda Alive and Strong. Special thanks to: Jonny Martinez and John Whipple at Tejas Records, Teresa Gloria and Rick Garcia at Hacienda Records, and Dave Brichler at Lone Wolf Productions. Luego, Link: Fiesta Musical
