Posted by DJ Ritmo I want to thank all of you for listening this past Monday and helping us with the station's fund drive. Fiesta Musical met and exceeded our persoanl fund raising goal! Of course, I was pleased with all the donations from our supporters and listeners. Personally, I was most pleased with the support of local Tejano bands and djs that donated. My personal target audience are those talented people who have the passion to play and promote Tejano music. It is clear from their support and comments that we are doing a good job reaching that audience with informative interviews, music programming and on air discussions. But, we cater to all Tejano fans with Dan the Man handling requests and DJ Tomas Pacheco as the main programmer who likes to expand the music to include Chicano, Latin Rock, Cumbias or whatever to display the versaitility of our artists. I want to give a shoutout to our long distance donors Mas Caliente from Saginaw, MI. This band is currently working on a cd and they managed to get us a couple of singles to play on the show.
